You enter the Sardarian War Camp from the south through the ominous Sadar Forest. To the north and west are the sheer climbs of the Sardar..to the east...a thousand. foot drop to the plains below. Ahead of you is the central fire, surrounded by the furs of the Masters and Mistresses of the camp. To the left stands the traditional pole in the center of a sand pit....... to the right, the sleeping tents. The camp is in the midst of the trees..to protect it from sighting by Tarnsmen.
You enter the camp through the only gate in a sturdy wall of rough hewn logs from the Forest, metal spikes protruding from the top to forestall the occasional unwanted visitor. Beyond the central fire lay the cooking and serving areas...tents and fires tended continuously by the slaves. Near the bottom of the western face of the mountains is the sleen pit and to the north runs a river ending in a cataract over the precipice to the east. On the very eastern edge of the camp at the top of the cliff is a small clearing...Here the tarn can be landed. The tarn pens are located just under the umbrella of the trees near the clearing. There are only two ways to get to the camp...by tarn or by the south entrance.....

to attempt to enter or leave it any other way invites death
